Incorporation
On 1 September 1924 the company starts under the name "Machinefabriek en scheepsreparatie G. van Ameijden & A. Grootveld".
Name change
The company is called Nemag, a combination of Nederlandse Machinefabriek van Ameijden and Grootveld.
Occupation
The war is a period of shades of grey for Nemag: on the one hand, the company records modest growth, on the other hand, it suffers from the german occupation.
Internship
Rob, Bram's son, starts his internship in England with Priestman.
Product launch Scissors Grab
Nemag presents the ideas for a new scissors grab at Hoogovens in Ijmuiden.
Second generation
Rob succeeds his father Bram as Managing Director of Nemag.

Nemag exchanges Rotterdam for Zierikzee.
