Our patented Quick Release Link is designed to increase the productivity and safety of your organization. The C-section, locking piece and a hexagonal key design guaranteeing a quick change over.
Long lifespan
To be able to guarantee you a long lifespan under the most severe working conditions, our Quick Release Links are made of special durable steel. The contact surfaces of the C-section have been hardened and the sealed locking piece is well protected against damage and dirt.
Fully certified
The Quick Release Links are fully certified before leaving the factory and upon your request available with L.R.S. or A.B.S. certificate.

- The Nemag Quick Release Link is fitted to Nemag grabs as standard, and is in addition also suitable for grabs from other manufacturers.
- The ingenious locking system has been balanced and perfected to become the most reliable, quickest and safest coupling method for ropes and chains.
- It contributes to the efficiency of bulk handling, because the grabs can be changed in no time using the Nemag Quick Release Link and Rope Pear Socket. This guarantees optimal productivity of the crane. (4-rope grabs for a 40 ton crane can, for example, be changed in 10 minutes by one person).
- The contact surfaces of the C-section have been hardened, which considerably lengthens the life span.

Grab selection can be hard
Our grabs are designed to help reduce risk through engineering details (e.g., accessible harness points, smooth/flush contours), and are validated with documented processes (e.g., 60-point inspections, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certificates, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) summaries, proof-load testing).
Safe operation always depends on trained personnel, correct procedures, and the crane/terminal’s own safety policies.
Planned inspections at regular cycle intervals (e.g., basic checks around 10 000 cycles; deeper inspections around 100 000 cycles) are recommended by Nemag.
Wear parts and kits are available and can be delivered with your purchase.
Typical dispatch target for stocked parts is under 48 hours to keep downtime low.
