High Performance

Built from wear-resistant, high-tensile steel, the Scissors Grab offers high stability and a low center of gravity, ensuring safer, more efficient operation. Its large footprint shortens the cleaning-up phase, and an optional radiation detection system can be added for scrap-handling applications.

Customizable

Scissors Grabs can be customized to optimize your installation and are available with a Safe Working Load up to 120 tonnes. The volume range can be more than 60 m³. Scissors Grabs are available with an open or half-closed shell. The grab opening in relation to the crane can be longitudinal, transversal and diagonally opening.

Safety and compliance accountability for Nemag equipment?

Our grabs are designed to help reduce risk through engineering details (e.g., accessible harness points, smooth/flush contours), and are validated with documented processes (e.g., 60-point inspections, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certificates, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) summaries, proof-load testing).

Safe operation always depends on trained personnel, correct procedures, and the crane/terminal’s own safety policies.

Maintenance and lead time on spare parts?

Planned inspections at regular cycle intervals (e.g., basic checks around 10.000 cycles; deeper inspections around 100.000 cycles) are recommended by Nemag.

Wear parts and kits are available and can be delivered with your purchase.

Typical dispatch target for stocked parts is under 48 hours to keep downtime low.
